I think he's always had it, he just has had generally poor shot selection. He's never really been shy about carrying the puck up ice or putting it toward the net though. Probably a good thing about having AMac as a partner...you know he'll generally be hanging back and playing conservatively, so it give Hamonic more of an opportunity to explore that part of his game.
